Élaboré par France Éducation international: it aims at assessing the proficiency in French at any one time of any individuals aged 16 or over who needs to certify their command of French for economic immigration procedures to Canada or for obtaining Canadian citizenship and who consequently have to submit an application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The test-results will be mapped to one of the 6 levels of proficiency – A1 to C2 – defined in the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). The results to the TCF are valid for 2 years
