All essential services i.e. restaurants, cafés, bars, shops, convenience stores, are catered for within a two-minute walk from Langue et Communication.

Rennes is the capital city of Brittany, known for its intense cultural and artistic activities, its festive atmosphere and its impressive architectural Heritage. The city belongs to the “Villes et Pays d’Art et d’Histoire” network, as no fewer than 85 edifices are listed by the “Monuments Historiques”.

There are plenty opportunities to go sightseeing all around Rennes, i.e.

• Saint Malo and the Côte d’Émeraude – Emerald Coast,
• Mount St Michel,
• Dinan and its remarkable half-timbered houses,
• Carnac and its menhirs,
• Cancale, the “oyster capital” of Brittany,
• Combourg, considered the “cradle of Romanticism” due to François-René de Chateaubriand
• Béchérel, also known as “Cité du Livre” …

  The supply

For your stay, a very carefully selected homestay will provide you with your own private bedroom, breakfast and dinner for one guest per family and the warmest of welcomes. You will then be given the opportunity to learn more about the French way of family life and practice French.

If you feel like it, your host-family may take you to Rennes and Brittany.

From the railway-station / airport

If you inform your host-family one week prior to your arrival, they will pick you up at the railway-station or the airport on your day of arrival.

  Organisation

Langue et Communicaton has developed a partnership with the association Accueil à la Maison, providing a wide range of accommodation services from “one night only” to half-board, fullboard, including arts and cultural outings.
