Actions de Proximité

At Langue et Communication, we offer French courses for migrants, in partnership with collaborators from the fields of occupational integration, culture and social areas. Together, we develop training actions that are rooted in real-life situations and answered real needs, with the objective of supporting pathways to inclusion and integration.

Sociolinguistic knowledge courses (ASL)

Because speaking French also means discovering the environment, we organised sociolinguistic knowledge courses in the heart of Rennes’ priority neighborhoods with stakeholders. Learning the language in context and with confidence are the key principles of these training sessions, created to meet residents’ needs.

Literacy courses

We support adults who did not attend school in their country of origin to develop necessary skills to write and read. Our intensive formula meets different approaches to offer a program tailored to each learner’s needs, which are progressive and rooted in the learner’s daily lives. Because everyday life also requires mastering technological tools, part of our training includes online learning in order to fight against digital divide.

Occupational integration actions

Working in French to understand your professional environment or training project, acquiring linguistic tools specific to each line of work and thriving at work while developing professional skills in French: tailor-made programs for current and future employees.

After a diagnosis of linguistics skill needs, we carefully design a personalised and realistic program that fits both the schedule and professional constraints.

Innovative actions

Curious and creative, our team enjoys exploring  the boundaries of French language teaching through the support of various expert partnerships.

Original, multidisciplinary, rich, and varied, these initiatives blend approaches and media by integrating radio, theatre, gardening, cycling… Innovative methodologies at the heart of learning!
