TCF (Test de connaissance du français - French Language test)
Registration for the TCF can be made by e-mail, by mail or on-site during the reception opening hours, except on Friday afternoons.
TCF has been devised by France Éducation international: it aims at assessing the proficiency in French, at one given time, of any non-French-speaking candidate who needs to know and certify their command of French for academic, personal or occupational motives. The test-results will be mapped to one of the 6 levels of proficiency – A1 to C2 – defined in the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). The results to the TCF are valid for 2 years.
